Twenty-Eight Minna started the month of April with a successful pop-up event!! We participated in the 2024 LadyLike PowHER Summit as a vendor at the Des Moines Marriott Downtown Hotel. LadyLike - established in 2017 - is an initiative to inspire and empower Black and African women in the Greater Des Moines Area while addressing the racial wealth gap through training, mentoring and entrepreneur support.

Aminna "Minna" spent April 5th and April 6th meeting other women entrepreneurs across Iowa and engaging with numerous customers. She was overwhelmed and appreciative of all the positive feedback, interactions, and conversations she had with the phenomenal group of women who attended the summit.

Thanks to many of our customers' dedication to looking good and doing good, we were able to donate $50 to the Jack and Jill of America Foundation to help support their mission to support African American children and families.

As an owner of a Black-owned, small business this was a HUGE opportunity for me to showcase my business and the luxury pieces Twenty-Eight Minna has to offer!
